Healthwatch Birmingham Reports

Healthwatch Birmingham reports potential variations in the quality and availability of services that unfairly affect particular groups of people. We communicate our findings widely; to the providers and commissioners of the relevant services, the wider health and social care system and members of the public. We aim to include in our reports the actions that providers and/or commissioners of the service have agreed to take to address the issues we have raised. We follow up these actions to ascertain if the service has improved. If not, we escalate our concerns to Healthwatch England, and the appropriate regulatory organisations.
