This is a series of two workshops for parents of special needs children who want to understand the process of getting an education, health and care plan; and the importance of getting the content right.
The first session on Friday, February 8, Understanding the Legal Framework, will look at the benefits of an EHC plan; the process of getting a plan and what to do if you LA refuses you a plan#
The follow up session on Thursday, April 4, Getting the  Content Right will explore what parents can do to ensure the content of the EHC plan is right; drafting of specialist provision and useful outcomes, and what to do if you are not happy with the final plan.
Both workshops will be delivered by a solicitor specialising in education law and special educational needs.
