Are you a Voluntary or Community Sector organisation supporting BAME carers who are caring for someone with a learning disability in West Birmingham?

You are invited to share your views at a workshop on Wednesday 9th December 2020, 9.30-11.30am to help Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group engage with BAME Carers who are caring for a loved one with a learning disability living in West Birmingham.

This workshop presents an opportunity to co-produce an approach and methodology which will be delivered by your organisation.

Funding is available to your organisation and the main purpose is to:

• Understand how to help carers from vulnerable communities to identify what matters most to them

• Understand what would ensure more carers from vulnerable communities’ access support so that they maintain their own health and wellbeing

• Co-design an approach which will help increase identification of this target group as well as support carers for implementation which are sustainable, scalable, and spreadable

• Evaluate work so that others can learn from what works well
