Improving health information for the Romanian and Urdu/Mirpuri speaking communities
As part of our ongoing efforts to tackle health inequalities in Birmingham, we are working with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) to improve the information they provide to patients from the Romanian and Urdu/Mirpuri speaking communities.
UHB are calling for participants for two FREE focus groups on the 27th of July 2021 for the Romanian Community and another two FREE focus groups on the 29th of July, 2021 for the Urdu/Mirpuri speaking community.
The purpose of these focus groups is to get the views and experiences from members of the community so that we can ask about understanding information given by the hospital (Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope). This could be spoken information or anything provided in a letter, leaflet or electronically. We will use what we hear to improve how information is provided.
