Moundsley Hall Care Village – Enter and View Report published

August 16, 2017

Healthwatch Birmingham has published our latest report following our visit to Moundsley Hall Care Village in June 2017. The Enter and View reports share feedback from residents about their experiences of care they receive.
Enter and View visits are just one of the ways we listen to the experiences of patients and residents using social care services in Birmingham. We have recently published other Enter and View Reports for Nursing and Care Homes in Birmingham, which you can find at: https://healthwatchbirmingham.co.uk/about-us/reports/
These reports mainly focus on how the service provider gathers and uses feedback from residents and their relatives. We also looked at resident’s experiences of the quality of care they receive.

Our findings from the Moundsley Hall visit:
  • Residents told us they felt listened to by the staff, and that the staff act on what they hear.
  • They also told us they feel staff treat them with dignity and respect, and meet their care needs.

The report focuses on how the service listens and uses feedback from residents, and includes patient experience we heard directly from residents during our visit. Healthwatch Birmingham provided the opportunity for the service to respond to the findings within the report.
