My Mum isn't the easiest of people, and her dementia can make her challenging at times. But oh my goodness when I'm coming in to visit and I hear them through the door with her, singing and saying sweet things to encourage her - it makes my heart swell. I couldn't wish for more, and knowing how well they look after her and genuinely love her has totally taken away any of the guilt I felt for placing her in a home.
