appointments easy, visits impossible

It's easy to get an appointment for the same day. No waiting several days. Home visits are refused however ill you are. When we registered the information leaflet said home visits are available only for the elderly and disabled. I am both but when I had pneumonia I couldn't get a visit and ended up going to hospital as an emergency late at night with a temperature of 103 and coughing up blood
