Receptionists poor response based on policy

I rang the surgery for an appointment and was asked to ring the following day in the morning. So as suggested I rang the following day at 8:15am & after giving my details the receptionist said I could not get an appointment as I had previously had an appointment a week ago. I explained that was for another reason. The receptionist said that they have a policy where the GP have to authorise appointments if I have had an appointment last week. I don't see how this could be a policy rule where a patient cannot get an appointment because they saw a GP the previous week for a different reason. What a silly policy (that's if it is part of the policy).

They're alright. I think they are alright. They should follow up health complaints even if they decide it's not a problem. They should follow up about it.
They misdiagnosed me

When you book an appointment it's always a phone call and after 3-4 weeks even when it's an emergency. If I miss the call I have to re-book. I was told to go through my symptoms. My nose was blocked so they gave me a leaflet on nose drops. Eventually I found out I had a serious allergy. I told them about it and nothing else was done.
Only phone appointments

Still only phone appointments being offered and to get one you have to advise the receptionist what is wrong with you. This is unacceptable as sometimes it's personal.
Locums don’t understand

I've been a patient at the surgery for quite a few years and in them years I've only had cause for complaint twice. It's a nice friendly surgery, sometimes you have have to wait for appointments, but I have to say that lately it has been much better and I have had appointments on the day requested.
Dreadful

Have tried for over a week to get an afternoon appointment for my daughter, rang at 09.01am and told only 2, (unsuitable) appointments available, after being told the day before that the appointments aren't released until the next morning. Dreadful dreadful practice since it changed hands. Never get through, can't get afternoon appointments and rarely seen by the same doctor twice. I have been with this practice for over 40 years but will now leave, you can't even get through to the practice manager to complain, (had the phone hung up on me twice) and she doesn't return calls as a matter of urgency. Appalling.

Good doctors but cannot see them on the same day that you get ill. I had to wait 5 days to make an appointment to see the Dr. Why can't we see the doctor on the same day?

This happened several times, forced me to write about this feedback. This morning when I called up to get an appointment for my child, receptionist told me that there is no slot available this week for the next week appointment, I have to call them back again either this evening or tomorrow morning, I think this is not professional way of handling patients needs.
