Bosworth Medical Centre

Bosworth medical centre is blooming awful! I can never get an appointment, and getting my medication (for my mental health condition) is an absolute nightmare. You wait days for the prescription to be sent to the pharmacy, it's a joke and I have ran out of medication so many times because their system is rubbish and things are never done within the time scale they say they will.

Reception team was helpful with getting an appointment booked, tried to offer the best for a family of 5 who all work.The doctor my family and I saw was amazing, everyone each made a comment on the way home about how good she was and 3 of us are from medical backgrounds so we are not easily pleased.

I had recently been diagnosed with sciatica, the physio at the clinic was very helpful and motivating in moving forward with this new diagnosis.

I recently raised a minor concern I had with the practice manager who within a week had come up with a solution to help me.

Always get an appointment. The GP is okay.

My experience of Bosworth Medical Centre has been pretty good. I have experienced problems getting appointments in the past but the receptionists are always friendly and helpful, and I have always managed to get one when needed. The doctors have been good and have made a number of referrals for me. I have found that they listen and I feel that they have supported me with treatment and referrals.

It can be very difficult to get an appointment. During appointments with doctors I have felt that my thoughts and concerns have been disregarded by them, and not felt that they have been listening to me.

The service provided is very hit and miss. They were very good while I was undergoing cancer treatment. Getting a general appointment is much more difficult. I have tried to use the online triage form but there was a 16 week wait for an appointment.

I am happy with the service overall but I do find it hard to get appointments. I'm not keen on the new online form either.

I was given an appointment the same day for a knee problem I was having. The doctor was good and explained everything to my dad and booked me in with the physiotherapist. I waited a few weeks for the appointment but the lady was really nice. She gave me exercises to do and reassured me that it was nothing serious.

Appointments take ages to book over the phone and you have to ring at 8am to speak to someone and usually once you get through, there are no appointments available anywhere. The surgery sent a text message yesterday saying you can now book appointments on the app but that if you are older you can still book appointments over the phone. I cannot use the app so I will have to keep phoning. The GP is 'okay' once you have an appointment. You see different people each time whereas in the past you could see one doctor at each time. Most of the doctors just prescribe medication and that's all they'll do. Some of the doctors are better than others. They do not give you a lot of information, for example, I was prescribed medication but I do not know how often to take them and for how long.

A doctor asked for a sample from my 10 month old son, she didn’t even look at it and told me there wasn’t enough. This is twice I’ve been and she has refused it.
