poor management no caring attitude.

Carers mostly really nice and caring. some practices questionable. Continually buying mom socks, pants etc as they keep going missing. Carers seem very busy and may not have enough time to really care.
Home manager, shows no compassion when mom was pushed over, breaking hip. then fell 2 weeks later after being back for less than 12 hours. Never called us, to see how mom was doing, never came to see mom when she was lying in pain waiting for ambulance - twice. Her lack of caring and compassion is disgusting.

The home is decorated well but there are a lot of very poor and serious issues with it.
They are understaffed and the standard of care seems to be quite low. Some of the staff of very caring but only a handful of them. My relative at times has not been washed and have had to come and do it myself.
The food is disgusting, sloppy and poor in variety.
The home is unsanitary, on making a cup of tea for my relative I noticed that the cutlery tray was filthy and this has been like that on more than one occasion. The floor my relative on smells absolutely disgusting near the toilets and kitchen units and have to breath shallow when near them to avoid smelling them.

Irresponsible staff, sometimes unsafe

I wouldn’t recommend this care home. Staff wasn’t all fully trained, never seemed to be enough staff. The doors were not working for about one week which was unsafe.
