GP is rude and hasn't sorted the request

Upon my discharge from a 4 night hospital stay I was requested by the hospital consultant to contact my GP to request colonoscopy. I had a telephone appointment with a GP and 'attempted' to explain the situation. Firstly, the GP kept interrupting me when I was talking... I explained I was in hospital whilst on holiday in Cornwall. I explained the treatment received, diagnosis and prognosis. Unfortunately, I had to ask the GP to allow me the opportunity to, 'talk, insofar as to read the discharge letter'. The GP retorted, abruptly, "Well you gonna have to start from scratch with ME!!". I was left in tears. I submitted a written complaint to the GP practice. This was last October. I am still waiting for the colonoscopy! The GP was very rude towards me and in fact the hospital consultant as it was their discharge letter (request).
Difficult to get appointments

They are hard to get an appointment with. They did see my daughter and referred her to the dermatology. They originally referred to Sandwell but they said there would be a 35 week wait so I called and asked if there was a shorter wait somewhere else and they gave us a cancellation appointment.
Medication is ready quickly

The pharmacy at the surgery is very good and helpful. Good advice and they get medication ready quickly too.

Difficult to get appointments and they send me to other surgeries which I cannot get to. I don't know if they have changed their policy as it used to be easy to get appointments.
Bought a phone so I could use the app

I purchased a new phone for my husband so that we could book an appointment as the app was the only way. Ended up getting a face to face as they thought he had cancer and referred him onto City hospital. We rang previously and could never get an appointment. They put him on a 2 week urgent referral for a scan but strikes made it 4 weeks and eventually he got an appointment.

Picked up my symptoms quickly

My GP picked up the symptoms for the stroke quickly and referred me to the hospital urgently.

Very satisfied with the GP service. I can walk in and get an appointment. They are very good.
Hard to get through & get an appointment

They're okay, well the doctors are okay when you get to see one that is. They don't assist over the phone. It's hard to get through and hard to see the same doctor.

Registering with them was pretty seamless and getting an appointment works well. They offer nurse or doctor which works for me. Good access, polite staff, great.
