The service is good but expensive

It costs over £50.00 for removal earwax removal. Absolutely disgusting, it used to be free on the NHS. The service is good it's just expensive.
Very expensive for varifocals.

They're very good. They usually send a text or email to remind me of upcoming appointments. I find glasses very expensive, I have the varifocals and they cost a lot. If you work you pay for everything.
I am very happy with them.

The Opticians here in Harborne is very thorough. I am very happy with them.
Told me to get urgent A&E treatment

They told me to go to A&E when I went for an eye test as there was a problem showing up that they said needed medical attention. They were very good and very thorough considering it was a routine eye test. They picked it up and gave good advice.

The Harborne branch is very good. They send me letters when my appointment is due and call me to arrange a test. They are very good.
They couldn't test me

I went for a test for suspected Audiology disorder but they said they only dealt with people who have hearing aids and I would need to be referred on. They told me to contact my GP and make an appointment to get that arranged.
I had to pay for ear cleaning.

They told me I had tinnitus and had to pay £55 to get my ears cleaned. That is very expensive. I think the staff and doctors stick together. They just said it was tinnitus.
Free service when referred by my GP

I had a hearing check and they said the one ear wasn't as good as they other. The GP referred me on and now I get free hearing aids, free check ups and batteries etc. It's all been very good.

They're really nice, they send out a letter, phone them up or book online for an appointment. Then they call you up just before the appointment.
