Very poor, cannot access them

Very poor. You cannot get through on the phone. I was unable to see them for 2 years during covid.

There is an ease to access GP services

There is ease in contacting the GP and for services such as medication and blood tests.

Hard to get appointments but they're fine

I can never get hold of them in the morning. Once you get through they're fine. They do prioritise children. Adults not so much but they're fine.

Trying to see your GP is time consuming

Getting to see your GP on time is a consuming activity. You have to spend 3 hours on the phone and 2 hours whilst waiting in the surgery. After all that effort they see you for 10 minutes which is a joke.

No longer provides Face to Face Appointments

Having been a patient of this surgery for nearly 30+ years, I always felt that the doctors genuinely cared about their patients. But over the last 5 years, the service has fallen apart and as a patient feel totally abandoned by the practice. My entire immediate and extended family are registered at this practice, and all, regardless of age or condition, are struggling to access any services. Average appointment waiting time is 2/3 weeks for an initial telephone consultation, then another 2/3 weeks if a face to face is agreed. This is the standard practice now, no face to face without a prior telephone consultation…and it can take days of calling to actually get through to the reception, with many of the receptionists clearly under pressure and consequently very combative or defensive, to the point of making it uncomfortable for a patient to call, especially if you call regarding test results. On many occasions I have been “told off” for calling for these, as “they would call me if it was serious”, but that’s missing the point, many patients want reassurance, not left in limbo, waiting indefinitely…especially if you happen to suffer with anxiety or ptsd related issues.

You can’t get through to them sometimes

You can’t get through to them sometimes and when you need an appointment it can take a while. But the GP’s are good when you can see them. It’s just the time it takes.

GP still doing everything there through the phone. Hard to get an appointment, nobody there if you go to surgery.

Very good haven’t had to see doctor but they do call me, doctor helped to apply for blue badge, they phone me and make appointments for blood tests and then notify me. rarely have to contact them.
