Excellent treatment and follow up

My 2 years old daughter who was born at Women’s hospital had a (NWS) surgery at 3 days and had weeks stay there. Excellent treatment and follow up. Even though NHS is under staffed and under pressure but the service given in circumstances is wonderful.

Oncology

Really good, on oncology ward for 5 months. Mum stayed around and was able to stay on ward on son’s bad days. Really nice staff and they let me know what was happening.
Doctors are kind

It’s nice and it’s got lots of colours and the doctors are kind.

Been coming since son was 1. Really nice never had any problems, better than our own hospital. Come for audiology appointment. Hospital been really good.
We waited a few months

Good, Plastics and constructive, we waited a few months for the appointment but they are been good so far. They let me know what is happening with my daughters care.
I really struggled

Had some bad experiences in the past with appointments. Had a surgery last year, they told us to be here at 7am. Because son’s needs aren’t serious as some others, we were left all day and my son ended up having a meltdown. I really struggled.
Generally they are good.

CESS team had put in measures for mental health support as soon as we were transferred from new cross hospital. They were really good.
