very unhelpful

I gave up after 2 telephone assessments as I didn't see how answering the same questions every few weeks was supposed to help me. I got no advice on how to manage my ptsd symptoms and was left to manage them by myself.

Our Healthy Minds service does use the telephone to help arrange suitability for appointments but they usually invite to attend at one of our centres if they can help. Could you contact our Customer Relations team on 0800 953 00045 and they can look into this for you.

Good staff but not right place for trauma

April 19, 2017
Assessment process involving senior trauma informed psychologists/psychotherapists could help narrow down appropriate people who would benefit from current service. Staff were great but not right service for me at all. Reluctant to refer to cmht or specialist services. More 'bottom up' social and soothing options and models wld help too

Takes a long time to get help

I've had three different screenings with differing information. I had no fixed address, so I kept having to be screened when I moved.
