GPs are good, but reception are not

September 23, 2024
The appointment booking is difficult. They tell me to call the next day. They don't ask me to call 111. The GPs are good. The reception staff are not good.

They wouldn't see me face to face

May 7, 2024
During Ramadan I had an issue and they didn't call me in. It took a long couple of hours to get through and they weren't helpful, they just said they would do blood tests and then you don't get your results or any information to help with the issue.

No face to face appointments

February 6, 2024
There are no face to face appointments they only speak to you over the phone and just prescribe from what you have told them and not what is necessarily wrong. My daughter had a pimple on her face and she was told it was acne but it wasn't. You're not treated accordingly. To get spoken to over the phone is a hassle.

Easy to register with them

Easy process to register there. They have been good so far. I've only used them once. They do over the phone conversations or they will see me too.

Bit hard to get appointments

Good GP practice, bit hard to get appointments. There can be long waits on the phone and then no appointment. Easy to get appointment for my child though.

GP doesn't come out to see me

March 6, 2023
GP came out when I had covid, he tested me, put me on some tablets and then I was alright. He sent me for another covid vaccination and then I got covid again. The GP doesn't come out to see me now.

Their email no longer works and not told anyone

March 6, 2023
We had to see various specialists and clinics due to various illnesses. Letters of diagnosis and changes in medication were being emailed to the GP Clinic but they told us they haven't received them. After a long conversation with the receptionist, she let it slipped that they don't have access to their emails. That explained why they haven't received any communication from the specialists/hospitals then doesnt it?. This could easily be fatal to certain patients whos medication has changed and need new prescription but the GP won't know that since they haven't seen the letter from the hosptial
