I was made a referral to a hospital on the other side of Birmingham when my local hospital is City Road. When I called to request a referral be made to City Road I was refused and was told they couldn't do that with the Secretary rushing to get off the phone and wouldn't listen to me. Even though I have had same referral on 2 previous occasions. Now i'm having to travel to a hospital miles away and they will not have my notes which is important considering the referral is for a same issue that I have had to attend City Road for previously and I had a small procedure the last time I attended.
