A remarkably poor provider of patient care.

Over the last 6 months, I have played a more active role in my father health care. G contacting the surgery by phone is nigh on impossible. I have been calling the surgery every day for the last 5 business days to get an appointment for my Dad. The lien is either diverted to their out of hours service (even when it is within their opening hours) or you have a fruitless and indefinite wait. Yesterday I spent a total of 53 mins waiting for someone to pick up the phone. My Dad needed a blood test and we had to wait over two weeks for the bookings list to open up just to get a test!! We then obviously had to wait for our allocated appointment time. The front line team do their best but it's a poor service that clearly has no imperative to improve.
Can't get a booking. Appalling!

Can't get call answered before 9.00, to be told no appointments that day, call back at 8,00 the next day. Why is it so difficult to allow advance bookings? I've ended up with conditions getting worse, needing more medical intervention, costing the NHS even more money, all because this practice can't provide as basic service. If you dare question the 'service', staff will effectively blame you for how badly run it is!! No online booking, phone numbers wrong on CCG information pages, one doctor well-known for arriving at least 45 minutes after his first appointment. Not going to comment on the clinical quality, as what's the point if you can rarely get to be seen.

A really great practice, fighting our corner against all those who are destroying the NHS
its a real shame funding is being cut from practices and being wasted on quangos, money should support the NHS

This surgery is virtually useless impossible to get appointments large percentage of reception staff often loose prescriptions or generally missunderstand tasks rarely seen within an hour of appointment time have had pneumonia wrongly diagnosed as a cold nearly costing me both mine and my unborn child's life!!!! I would most certainly advise that you think twice before registering here!! I feel I receive better treatment at the local walk in! Hence the reason I am now looking for a new Drs!
