Hello, thank you for taking the time to record your feedback. We are glad to read that your care was good. We can appreciate your point regarding Covid restrictions, it has been a tough time for everyone involved. However, the restrictions are in place to keep the hospital as safe as it can be. It is good that, at present, the hospital are rolling out 'family time' to support both parents in the hospital. We hope as much as anyone else that this continues. In regard to toys, play is still encouraged on the wards, even throughout the lockdown period, as long as the patient remained in their cubicle/bed space. If ever needed again, please do ask staff for any toys available. These just need to be cleaned before and after individual patient use. Play is always important at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
