Busy but the staff are really good.

It's okay, it's busy and can be difficult to get appointments but the GP and nurse are great. The receptionists are good too.

They don't help

They just give out medication instead of doing anything to actually help.

Frustrating

January 24, 2024
This GP surgery is generally good, receptionist and admin staff are lovely.
However after filling in a form online I was asked to make an appointment. I had highlighted that worsening mental health issues were my biggest concern and yet during my appointment that was practically ignored. Basically I was not sure why I was told to make an appointment as they were unable to help. I could wait months for an NHS referral or go private I was told. First time ever I've been told to consider going private but it shows the state the NHS is in.

Brilliant, helpful and understanding.

Good GP. I'm not knocking them they have been brilliant with me. The only thing is, you ring up and they only give single appointments to discuss one thing at a time. So to discuss more than one thing I have to book double or triple appointments. The surgery is clean, staff are understanding, especially the receptionists who are courteous and polite. They've started to digitise a lot of the service which doesn't work well for me or people like me and the GP's or receptionists need to be signposting people to support services and different services.

Accessible

I went back to the GP and they said there was swelling in my ankle and suggested I buy an exercise band and exercises to follow. They're accessible but sometimes need more help.

Still have not heard back

March 13, 2023
GP referred for hernia in 2021, sent referral form for QE and still have not heard back. Can get appointments but only deal with one complaint at the time. Having a lot of pain with ankle and leg and a lump. First the doctor said, it was a stress fracture another doctor over the phone said it was a torn ligament. With out seeing me. how can they diagnose something like that over the phone.

Can only go to the doctor for 1 thing

March 13, 2023
Every time ring at 8 am, soon as you get through phones full at capacity, when calling first thing in the morning. Can only go to the doctor for 1 thing at the time, so you have to keep calling them, get through at 8:20am no appointments. It’s just wrong. Doctors are fobbing off and won’t refer to see if I still having medical issues.

Absolutely shocking

Shocking! Ridiculous trying to get an appointment. They tell you to call at 8am to get an appointment and then you can't get through. You then get through and there's no appointments left. They're absolutely shocking.

No appointment for granddaughter

January 5, 2023
Grand-daughter ended up in hospital as they wouldn't see her, rang for an appointment and said there was nothing. She ended up deteriorating and couldn't breathe.

Never any appointment available

Not very good. I don't use them there's never anything available. Long waits on the phones and never any appointments. I'd rather use the walk in centre.
