They became fixated with on-line triage

During lockdown they retreated into a bubble such that patients were treated as if they all had the plague. They became fixated with on-line triage/appointments to the exclusion of any personal contact. If you went to the surgery they had a phone system outside and kept people waiting outside in whatever weather conditions prevailed at the time. Up till then this practice was a model of how to manage a practice but their obsession with excluding patients from any form of personal contact makes us feel like so much rubbish.

Reasonable service though receptionist can be unnecessarily brusque.

They are quite good with getting an appointment. They don’t make me wait a lot. Don’t see them often but when I do they’re are fine. Decent care and treatment given.

You phone up on the day and you always get an appointment on the same day. They always explain things to you and there is a great level of care. Good referral to the CMHT, only waited 3 days for an appointment. I told them I was feeling down and the doctor suggested it may help to come to the CMHT. He explained what they would do there.
Very professional, very quick to spot things. Your welfare very important to them. You can talk to them about anything and they explain to you in layman's terms.

Good service

They are a good service and normally I can get appointments when I meet them. However, when I went to talk to them about my eating disorder 5 months ago, doctor just told me to drink more, and didn’t do any further test or give me any information about eating disorders. 3 months later I was really not well and ended up collapsing at work. I went back to my GP and saw a different doctor. This was my 9th day not eating, 3 days of not drinking. The doctor did blood test and saw that my body was starving. They referred me to mental health services and barberry clinic to me straight away for help me with right information.
