Awful for years
May 16, 2022
Unfortunately I have been with this GP for a fair few years now and it seems to only be getting worse. Today I had to call after the dr's lost my prescription request. 30 minutes on hold, then it says its lunch and the lines closed, opens again at 13:30, 13:30 comes around and until 13:37 the phone still said "our lines are currently closed" receptionist was beyond rude and when I told her I was a patient with severe MH issues & disabilities who needed her medication and had been left without it because of a Dr mistake she was not happy, I then said I would complain to the CQC and the phone was slammed down on me.

I have nothing but praise for the practice and I have never had an issue with Reception. I feel it is important to point out the positive but I thoroughly understand other peoples experiences will be different to mine and they must complain.
More face to face appointments Needed The manor practice Sutton Coldfield

Its been good up until covid situation it would be more better if they could start more face to face with the gps the only face to face appointments are with nurses not the GP.
Extremely poor James Preston medical centre

Extremely poor. The GP's are trying to practice on video calls instead of getting back into the surgeries. You have a hernia and they want a video call. You have to wait in a queue for 1/2 hour to then have to convince a receptionist that you need to see a doctor. Get some more resources to cope with the demand.
Where is the duty of care Manor practice

Hospitalised with COVID 4 months ago. Have symptoms of long covid. Back at work managing care home but need advice and support from my GP unable to get appointments let alone a phone consultation. Where is the duty of care.
