Cares been really good.

Cares been really good. Staff looked after me really well. I was inpatient for ten days for liver disorder. Room was cold and drafty - Windows need replacing. Otherwise really looked after. Food and drinks were ok. Buzzed came really quickly.
This Hospital is good

I have had a baby at this hospital before. I was induced and the hospital was short staffed at the time; for this reason, my induction was paused and then resumed again after two days. It was a very traumatic experience for me and therefore I am opting for a planned C-Section the next time round.
However, having said that, I am still convinced the hospital is good as all my other experiences here have been great.

I have had three babies over here and all I can say is, it’s a great hospital with professional staff. Good care is central to everything.

Midwives were excellent & brilliant aftercare
Maternity
November 20, 2019
Early stages of labour – moved from delivery suite to birth centre as told a room in the birth centre had become available however we were left in the retreat room for two hours with no checks made by midwife despite having asked for more pain relief. Despite initial experience, once in established labour the midwives were excellent, aftercare in ward 4 was also brilliant, and lot of support was provided for breastfeeding. Discharge took a long time (3 hours) when I was unnecessarily taking up a bed. Also didn’t given my medication on time, so had to come back for them (antibiotics/iron tablets/pain relief). Discharge notes also had errors in them.
