Very outstanding

The service has been excellent and great, very outstanding. The staff were good and food was great in the hospital.
Doctor didn’t show up

I had a knee replacement and when I was in a recovery ward, I had a severe pain and requested to see a doctor but was told the doctor is dealing with another emergency. It was second day after surgery and I was in severe pain but the doctor didn’t show up.

I didn’t know where I was going, interactions were fine. Happy with communication about appointments.

Pretty good. Service is excellent can’t fault it. I use patient transport. They go out their way for you. Appointment was excellent.

I have been using this hospital since I was a child and I think It’s excellent. I had a knee operation. I was an inpatient. The cleanliness of the ward couldn’t fault it. Food wasn’t very nice at all. Staff were brilliant. I wish they were the same in all hospitals.

Fine, it was fine when he had his surgery. Nurses between 10am to 2pm a bit grumpy & forceful in her actions and words, but the rest were friendly and jolly. No compassion from one nurse (agency nurse).

Knee replacement 12 months check up 14 months later, didn’t want to miss it only running 5 minutes late. They were all really nice. I was sick after anaesthesia but they were really nice.
Superb hospital

I had to go to Heartlands as I felt my hip had become dislodged. They got in touch with the Orthopaedics as I had had my hip replaced before. That hospital was superb.

Hip operation – tickety boo, 5 days I was out. I couldn’t wait to get out. I didn’t like the food. The staff was fantastic, Just the chef needs sacking.
