Great surgery, always responsive.

I've been with this surgery for some years. At times it's been hard to get an appointment, understandably as it's a large practice, but I've always managed to get one in in a timely fashion. I really like the nursing team. Especially Always pleasant, caring & helpful.

Dr W is the best doctor at this surgery. She listens to my problems and prescribes the best course of treatment for me.
Rude and Unhelpful

I don’t like my present GP because he is Rude and unhelpful. The doctor did not welcome scope for service which would restore me to health and emotional happiness. Inadequate community mental health care and respect, no help available.
Issues with referral
August 19, 2016
General rudeness of receptionist and missing referral to maternity. Receptionist refuses to allow calls for initial conversation with the GP if I do not disclose all my health problems – I do not want to tell the receptionist. Sometimes they are running over an hour behind with appointments.
I went to my GP when I found out I was pregnant as I needed a referral to the maternity services for a scan to determine how many weeks pregnant I was. When the referral did not come through I called City Hospital to see what the delay was. They said they had not received a referral. I asked the GP to reissue a referral. I had to keep calling City Hospital to try and make the arrangements myself as the GP would not chase the appointment for me even though this had been deemed urgent. City Hospital finally agreed to see me despite not having the referral. The scan finally took place in early August and a midwife was assigned.
