A poor service
January 23, 2024
My 3 year old grandson had very bad asthma. He waited one month to get an appointment with the respiratory nurse. It's a poor service.
Book appointments on an app

It is a disgrace that you can't see your GP. Now you need to book on app but what if your too old or don't have internet access. It's very bad.
Want people to go private

Trying to get people to go to private.
Not good, appointments feel rushed
June 6, 2023
It's not that good to be honest. I can't get appointments. I phone and there's always 20+ people in the queue ahead of you. I've stopped going and would only go if I thought it was something urgent. It's a long wait for such a quick appointment and some antibiotics, couldn't it be a reason for repeat infections, it's all too rushed.
Disgraceful

Been with practice many years, now cannot get to see a doctor as I cannot get appointment, tried on the phone, been into the practice, gone on line nothing and even if you are lucky enough to get appointment you can't see a doctor, its on the phone, how can they see you pain over a phone, service is so bad I have stopped trying and living with the pain which is hard in the job I do.
Superb Surgery

I can't rate my surgery (Vesey Practice) highly enough - the receptionist ring ME to book appointments! Friends and colleagues are amazed at how good they are, can't rate them highly enough - thank you so much, fantastic service.
Better

A lot better than the practice I used to be at. They're more up to date and they know what they are doing. Contacted them and got my newborn son in as an emergency after delays at my old practice, and got him booked in for vaccinations. They also did my 6 week post partum check up face to face.
It's easy to see them

I'm okay but I live in residential care, the doctors come to us. It's easy to see them, we've had our boosters.
Wouldn't see husband face to face
August 5, 2022
Can't get through on phones. You're 70+ in a queue, so I go down to the surgery. I did manage to see a doctor for my leg, but I had to go private. My husband rang the doctors in an emergency as he couldn't breath. Had to ring the doctors on 7 different occasions that day. The doctor wouldn't come out to see him just told him to use his steroids and his emergency pack which had antibiotics. He was dead the next day.
Not a good practice

I approached them as I've been having issues with my ankle. They previously prescribed antibiotics, ointment and cortisol cream. But my ankle was getting so hot at night. When lock down eased in May I asked for a face to face appointment and said it wasn't an emergency. I decided to go down to the surgery at 8am the next day and explained why I needed to see a doctor, they said they only see people in emergencies but said a doctor would ring back to speak to me. Ten minutes later they rang and said a doctor would not be calling me back. It's not a good practice.
