They are very good & professional. Last week my nephew was diagnosed with diabetes and they provided full support.

Waiting a while for appointment

They've been okay. We've been waiting for an appointment since last November. I've had 3 or 4 appointments cancelled and have rearrange one for tomorrow. One of my appointments was cancelled when I was on my way to the hospital. One time my son had an appointment for the blood test, we got there at the appointment time and they said it was their lunch time and would have meant a 45 minute appointment time. But they said they could do it before they went on lunch but he couldn't have the numbing cream and he had it done.

My child has anxiety,ADHD and tics

My then 6 year old was refered by my GP to bham children's hospital for her mental health ,we gave video evidence of her tics but still she was rejected without us even knowing, we have to live with her anxiety etc everyday and it's getting worse by the day but we have had no help or support for a innocent child

Referrals through GP take a long time

Sometimes straight forward and sometimes less straight forward. A lot of the time staff are stressed because its busy which is understandable. Referrals through GP take a long time. Main GP are good at what they do.

Out of hours are the worst

Out of hours (weekends, bank holidays) are the worst. Any worries and concerns over this time is stressful.

A&E is always a pain

A&E is always a pain. My son being an out patient you would have thought he would be a priority being well known since a baby. Other than this issue the doctors and nurses are all very polite and caring. They listen to the parents and take our worries and feelings into account.
