It has poor customer service

I don’t go here myself however I’m a carer and my citizens do, my parents do and my nan and the customers service is beyond dreadful, it is a very incompetent surgery with rude staff
Difficult to get an appointment

Not being able to get GP appointment when very much in pain. Even after taking myself of to walk-in centre, no blood test can be done without any doctor’s referral, so it was back on forth.

In Feb I was on the phone for over half an hour before I put it down. Tried again and was told I would have to book an appointment for mid march. Phoned the following Monday and was told I could have an appointment on Friday.
Staff can be rude, surgery is boring and run down.
Phoned up regarding a referral made on that Friday and was told that I would have to wait til Tuesday for a telephone confirmation. No clear communication between the hospital and GP - As Hospital letter arrived 2 months after the appointment.

Walked in morning 078. Questioned in detail by receptionist for reason of attendance to be told to ring at 8 tomorrow. No confidentiality

The overall service & care is excellent, Doctors are caring, however the appointment system is really difficult.
Took 20 minutes to call and still no one answered, so I went in to book in person. It's difficult to cancel an appointment which needs to Did Not Attend if I have to look after children and one of them is ill.
