I prefer to speak to a human

I have to make appointments online. I get same day ones. I find reception alright and the check in portal but I do like to speak to a human. It's hard to get appointments with the same doctor. We only get a short time.
I don't like online forms

I don't like using vConsult to get a doctors appointment. I will be ditching my smartphone at some point in the future so I will not be able to fill out the form. There is no indication as to what question is mandatory, I had to chase my GP for a prescription and I had to fill out vConsult and there was not a suitable category. I am also deeply concerned over GPs refusing to prescribe HRT for trans patients due to wooly GMC guidelines.

Very good and very helpful. I have no problems with them. I get appointments when I need them. Never have any issues with them. I don't use them that much but when I do it's a five star service. Excellent.

Run down and no parking

It's okay. I don't like that there is no privacy screen anymore. I don't like seeing the trainee. I like to see the familiar doctors that I know. There isn't a car park and the surgery is very run down. The send my a text to send over my blood pressure but they keep sending me reminders even after I've sent the result across.
Rude and unhelpful

Reception staff are rude and unhelpful. They don't talk to their patients in a polite tone.
Easy to get appointments

I find it quite easy but sometimes they book appointments when I'm at college. When I ask they will change them though. The staff do listen but they don't always refer when you ask them to.

The GP said my son didn't have any issues even though he had blood when going to the toilet, he went to the Children's and they diagnosed him with a bowel condition.
Could be more friendly.

It's difficult to get an appointment on the phone. Sometimes when I do it's okay. They could be more friendly.
