High Street Surgery (MMP)

I got an appointment at the diabetic clinic and they see me every 3 months. I can get general appointments with them as well. I have no issues.

Very good. I will give them 5 stars.

Being a gold/platinum patients (cancer and over 80 years of age) means when you call they will see mom within 24 hours, but for myself, it pushes me back. The dementia check over the phone was pretty useless. I did get a text about an hour later to say they had found the power of attorney part at the front, as the doctor wasn't aware of it. He was very condescending and doing it to tick a box and they're not actually interested in your answers. As a carer you don't have all of this extra time to be wasted I think what was the point.

Very good surgery and the GP tries to listen to me in detail and provide the help I need all of the time.

There were always loads of queues, it was difficult to book appointments and they didn't always have an interpreter. I ended up moving elsewhere as there was an interpreter there.

They are very good and helpful. My GP is always available when I need him.

Weren’t too bad at first, rang last week with bad ears, throat and chest and was told to go to badger. Could be closest to the number in beginning and still don’t get an appointment. Had to call NHS 111 for daughter a few weeks back.

Not the best – Last week son was ill I phoned at 8am after 10 attempts I was caller no 26. They saw him as priority patient at 9:30. Getting repeat prescription can take an hour to get through prescription line. They offer prescription service online but not for children. Contemplated moving but they know our history.

Not great, they don’t see you face to face.

I would not take my family if they were dying. Just awful. Only time they contact you is for asthma or diabetes check because they get funding. Staff are lovely just something wrong with practice polices.
