Very hard to get an appointment

I would like the GP to allow us to make appointments nice and easily. Although they are open till late hours, it is still very hard to get an appointment. We have been having to wait over a week to book an appointment.

The online booking system works as they give you choice. There is a big turnaround of doctors, and many with English as additional language. Inconsistency in how / what letters they send to people.
Difficult to get an appointment

In order to get appointments you have to call at 8am and immediately there is 25 people on the queue. You then have to wait on the line for 30 mins, and if you haven’t got through by the end of it, they just hang up. Recently, I have got a nice doctor and I can get good treatment. I always ask for her when I book.

I was told to ring my doctor about my eye test, I made 4 phone calls but didn't get through. I thought the surgery was closed on Wednesday afternoon, but it was closed at 3pm on Thursday afternoon. Rang again on Friday to be told that the doctor wasn't there. I rang again on Monday at 10am to be told to ring again later!
As soon as you call up you are not greeted professionally or made welcome.

I called before I came to register and when I arrived in person to follow this up they said they were not going to do it any more. I asked to speak to the manager and he never came to see me. When I actually came to have the health check the gentleman was really rude.
