They get us seen.

Really good. I used them for my son and they got him an appointment at a walk in centre. Sometimes I prefer to use them as they get us seen and sorted.

Phoned 10.15 am - told would get call back within 2 hours. Still waiting 12 hours later despite chasing up twice - disgusting
Lost trust in the NHS
February 14, 2024
I called 111 service and they told me to just wait for the GP in a weeks time but I could see that the spots were getting worse. I ended up taking her to Walsall A&E and they told me to take her to the Children's A&E asap. They prescribed her antibiotics and were here for an appointment today. We haven't waited long. I have just lost total trust in the NHS. They have failed so many times.
It's a joke

I call them and they tell me they can't do anything for me or I will have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with my GP. It's a joke.

Told to go to hospital

Called them one time and they sent my son to hospital. They asked questions and then told me to take them. My son has asthma.
I call them to get me a GP appointment

It's a very efficient service. I call then and they get emergency GP appointments for us. It is much quicker and easier calling them than my GP for an appointment.
Answered quickly

I was told to access 111 by my GP and they then told us to go straight to A&E after they asked us questions. They answered quickly and got us the help we needed.
Not helpful

You call them and if the GP is closed they just tell you to keep trying them which is not helpful.
They signpost us to A&E

They do prioritise my son and get us to the right place if I need to use them. I have used them a couple of times and they signpost us onto A&E when my son is having a crisis.
