I called them and they made me wait for 40 minutes for someone to call me back and tell me to contact South Birmingham Urgent Treatment Centre

I had a sore throat but my daughter said I didn't look too well and called 111 to get advice. They said they would send paramedics because my symptoms sounded severe.
Send an ambulance for no reason

They send ambulances for no reason. My son had a temperature and they wanted to send an ambulance to go to A&E. The ambulance was not needed. You can get an ambulance quicker calling 111 that calling 999.

I had a fall in the garage and cut my head open. My son called them and they advised me to go straight to A&E as we couldn't stem the bleed. They were very helpful and quick acting.

I had an interpreter when my son had toothache and had a translator immediately. They got someone to the phone to talk to me immediately. They gave me advice for my kid and what to do to help with toothache. I felt it was very helpful for me.
