Computer check in is Fiddly.

November last year referred from GP in Solihull and I think that was GP not the hospital. First appointment today. Computer check in screens are slightly delayed. Fiddly when touching the buttons and easy to get around the hospital. Signage for car park could do with being 100 yards before the entrance.
Scans and results the same day. Very pleased.

I have been a patient here for 2 years and communication is very good. They send emails and letters. Have scans and results the same day. I'm pleased with that, so saves us having to make another journey. Staff are all very nice. Appointments are okay. It's a wait in between appointments but I am fine with it. It sorts itself out.
9 month wait with no communication

Referred on from Russell's hall to Royal Orthopaedic and waited 9 months for the appointment today. They sent an email for the appointment last week. No communication in that time about appointment. The hospital has been alright so far.
Good communication. Parking is poor

Parking is really inconvenient. People struggle with parking arrangements. Not useful having to wait 1 hour 1/4 beyond first appointment which has made me late for second appointment. Receptionists have insured me that I will still be seen. Very good communication about appointments. Would prefer paper copies and good at reminding me of upcoming appointments.

Brilliant. Appointment ran on-time. I was seen quickly. Seen in a short period of time. I then had the operation arranged in a small amount of time. 2 year wait from previous hospital but operation was arranged here within 2/3 months of being referred to the service. Wards are clean and brilliant food. Everything was really good.
Hospital is brilliant and I am pleased.

They were really good today. I had to cancel my appointment previously but they were good at getting another one booked in for me. Hospital is brilliant. We've been best pleased.

1 year for an appointment after my MRI at Sandwell and I was sent an appointment through text and email. Parking isn't great but fine to get around. Hospital staff are wonderful too.
Very accommodating but up to a 3 hour wait.

Rang hospital transport. No trouble and they were very accommodating. Only thing wrong is there is they have a 3 hour window for hospital transport, so could be half an hour, could be 3 hours. You just have to wait.

I've been an outpatient for over 2 years. Good in comparison to local hospital (Burton). The Royal Orthopaedic are amazing. Burton failed to diagnose husband's cancer. He had a fall at home and called an ambulance who didn't take condition seriously. Said they wouldn't arrange an x-ray as it was during COVID. Ended up going to see a physio 3 weeks after the fall and they referred him straight to Royal Orthopaedic hospital and they diagnosed and treated him immediately. They have been so good and thorough. They're on top of things and husband's care and they are contactable whenever I need them.
It's brilliant. I feel listened to.

I can't fault it. It's brilliant. All services are arranged for the same day. I had an MRI scan, biopsies and x-rays all done on the same day which is great. Most appointments run on time. They give you time within the appointment so I feel like I can ask any questions and feel listened to. They also said that in-between appointments if I feel I need to contact them I can. They have been helpful.
