Shocking. I have had a detrimental comment, by a doctor whilst having a smear, about my tummy. I have had mix ups with times of phone appointments by receptionists.

No appointment available to book for three weeks. Ring up by 8am - engaged constantly.

Can not get appointment, very bad. District nurses phone put on hold for half hour then someone leave name and number get back to you. They don't. Had two visits from district nurses since last Sept 2015. Still waiting for my incontinence pads changed to more stronger size No 10 or more. I'm soaked in bed every night, nurses promised better pad - still none. Drs promise to speak district nurses, 3 Drs still nothing done.

Trying to get an appointment

Me and my whole family have been with this surgery for about 15 years now and we always commended how the staff and the process of being seen by a doctor was really great. Now since becoming hi tech, the process has changed. Patients can book appointments way in advance, calling at 8.15 every morning does get you through to reception so you can bag a same day appointment. My sister recently had a really bad throat infection the Monday which was just getting worse. She rang for a whole 45 minutes from 8.15 continuously before getting through and being told no appointments at all were available until Thursday!! And if she was bad to go to the walk-in. Just terrible. This process does not work and think the team need to rethink to go back to the old ways or not take on too many patients where now you have to preempt being sick to see your doctor!!

My father recently came down with shingles and the team at the surgery made sure he was seen to straight away. The doctor was also very thorough and was adamant he must see him again prior to going back to work. My dad always feel very well looked after by the team and doctors at the surgery who know us and the family now quite well. This is on behalf of him and the rest of our family...thank you.
