Very calm and cheered me up

March 18, 2025
I called 999 as my husband had a fall and I couldn't get him off the floor. They were very calm and helpful. They even cheer you up. They were so good to both of us.

Arrived quickly

March 12, 2025
The ambulance came quickly when I was having a heart attack 7 weeks ago. They did an ECG and said they thought it was a heart attack. They took me straight to A&E.

Lovely paramedics

They were so lovely and said the first crew that came out should not have been so dismissive and should have taken me to A&E immediately.

Blue lighted to A&E

March 12, 2025
111 told me to call 999 as I was having breathing difficulties. They came within 10 minutes and checked me over. They said my heart rate was perfect and told me I would just need to go back to the GP. They called the GP and all of a sudden they had an appointment. In the end I ended up being blue lighted to A&E at Midland Met hospital.

Really nice

Really nice ambulance staff. They did their checks at the scene of the accident but forgot to sign me in when we got to A&E or the system wasn't working, not sure.

Kept my husband calm

February 5, 2025
The paramedics got him up and helped him to the ambulance. They kept him calm as he was confused and they tried to explain to him as best they could.

Poor service delivery 2 years ago

February 4, 2025
My husband collapsed at home on boxing day 2 years ago. He had lung cancer and pneumonia. When I called the ambulance they said it would be 4 hours so it would be better to take him in a taxi so my son drove us to the A&E. Poor service delivery
