Invitation for Patient Volunteers to help Birmingham and Solihull CCG transform musculoskeletal services
Birmingham and Solihull NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (BSol CCG) is trying to standardise the decision making for patients living with new and long-standing limb and joint conditions across all of Birmingham and Solihull. They are trying to ensure your doctors and other healthcare staff make the best decisions on treatment and referrals for you at every presentation. They aim to avoid unnecessary treatment, investigations, and trips to hospitals, while improving the quality of your care.
To do this BSol CCG is bringing together experienced doctors, physiotherapists and other health professionals from your general practices and hospitals to design the best pathways of care for you. In order to spread this best practice far and wide, they are using a digital tool called OrthoPathway.
BSol CCG is now looking for volunteers to become part of regular patient focus groups virtually over video conferencing to engage with the clinicians, review the digital product OrthoPathway from your perspective and give your opinion on the changes to your treatment pathways.
To apply to take part download and complete the BSol OrthoPathways Pilot application form and email to nhsbsolccg.orthopathways@nhs.net by January 19th.
