Improving health & care services in local neighbourhoods

You are invited to take part in an interactive, in-person workshop to help Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System (BSOL ICS) develop a new health and care service approach in your neighbourhood.

At present people are often supported separately by different parts of the health and care system and often, both citizens and professionals can find it difficult to know what support is available and how to get help.

A new Integrated Neighbourhood Teams approach aims to create a closer multi-organisational collaboration between health & local authorities, voluntary organisations and primary care in each community.

This approach will deliver better co-ordinated care and support at a neighbourhood level and ensure that citizens receive the right care at the right time in the right place and by the right person. It will also support local people to keep safe and well in their own homes for as long as possible and help to reduce unnecessary admission to hospital.
