Welcome to our new board member

We’re pleased to announce that Rosi Sexton has joined the board of Healthwatch Birmingham and Healthwatch Solihull.

Currently working as an osteopath, Rosi was a councillor in Solihull between 2019 and 2023. Explaining her motivation for joining the board, Rosi said, ‘Having worked on the problem of local health provision and health inequalities during my time as a councillor in Solihull, I’m all too aware of the challenges currently facing the health and social care system, and the problems that many people are having in accessing the care that they need. Healthwatch has a crucial role to play in raising awareness of these issues, collecting feedback on services and acting as the patient and community voice.’

Welcoming Rosi to Healthwatch Birmingham and Healthwatch Solihull, Chair Richard Burden said, ‘Rosi brings a wealth of experience as a former Solihull councillor specialising in scrutiny of health and social care. This, combined with her own professional and personal background, makes her a real asset to Healthwatch and we are lucky to have her on our board.’
