Healthwatch Birmingham’s response to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) consultation on updated quality standards for the identification of suspected cancer.

We shared findings from our investigations into accessing GP services and local NHS prostate cancer services. In addition, we emphasised the importance of high quality communication and meaningful ongoing engagement with patients.
