Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC)

Having been advised to visit urgent care at the eye centre I arrived at 11.30. I was triaged and had my eyes tested pretty much straight away. Then the problem began. There seem to be adequate nursing staff and admin staff but doctors are very thin on the ground. The few who are there seem to do a lot of walking around but not much of actually seeing patients. It took four hours in the end before I was seen by a junior doctor.

Very kind and helpful staff when I had my cataract surgery there.

They checked my visions to see if it was the same. I have an appointment next week to get the proper glass fitted in my glasses.
