Referred due to the complexity

Referred from Leicester due to being a complex epilepsy situation. I had to travel 40 minutes on the motorway to the appointment today.

All has been good with appointments. I did have to wait half an hour but that's fine. The doctor was good and spoke directly to me which I appreciated.

Good. Good organisation of appointments. The staff are approachable and explain things well and they answer any questions I have in the ENT department.

Communication is great. They cover all bases.

It's okay. You have the appointment first and then go for bloods. We come to see the kidney department. There is good communication about the appointments and they send emails, texts and letters. They cover all bases. Staff are nice. We have been coming since she was born and they have been great.

Can't fault the hospital

Brilliant. I can't fault the hospital. I had to cancel an appointment and they rearranged it really quickly. They have seen all of my children and have been fantastic in general.

They have given up

They tried a topical lotion on my sons head for alopecia and it didn't work. They seemed to have given up as that isn't working and we don't know what else to do for him as he is so embarrassed and sad.

Very good. We were referred on from an A&E doctor who got her an appointment for the week later. All has been on time and the doctor was very good, kind and informative.

Usually very good.

It's the second appointment for ENT. I ended up going private as the waiting time was meant to be 2 years. They are running late today. They are usually very good. Good with my son.

Scans and operation arranged within a week

My son is on ward 8 and currently having an operation which was scheduled as a priority as he is 2.5 years old. Everything was arranged within a week. He was referred from Sandwell. He had a CT scan within a day and had abnormal results and the operation was arranged for the following week. The hospital staff and everything has been really good.
