Long wait for an x-ray but excellent hospital
January 13, 2025
I waited for 1 hour for the x-ray. They were short of staff due to illness however. It is a clean hospital with excellent facilities. Good parking and café. Reception are also very helpful.

A mixed experience

I have mixed experiences here. The good things are the helpful staff, good parking and it's clean. The areas of concern are the waiting times for appointments and they don't reply to your calls or emails.

The care was good

The care was good. I was sent for nerve testing but they don't do it here. They didn't feel a lump so they didn't do an x-ray. TMD, jaw clicking isn't seen on the NHS anymore. They didn't think it was anything serious or a cancerous lump however.
Long waits for your appointment

The staff are friendly and very professional but on the punctuality side they give you one time and then see you way after that time. The receptionists are honest about the waiting times. Signposting around the hospital could be better as there are no signs from the main road. I waited 18 months for my referral.
I have had a long wait and am anxious already
January 13, 2025
My appointment was meant to be at 10am and it's now 11:15am so if your having a procedure and already anxious it just increases your anxiety. There were long waits last time. Today I am having a procedure to remove roots and I had to wait a while for the referral. You would think it would be speedy for those that have had cancer.
