I am not being listened to or referred.
November 28, 2023
I do not feel listened to. I have been waiting for 4 years for an ADHD diagnosis. I asked them to refer me onto CBT and I feel like I am not being listened to. They say it could be another thing other than ADHD. It's just not great.
Rubbish I can't get an appointment
September 25, 2023
Rubbish, I can never get an appointment. Whenever I call for blood results or anything from the hospital, like last week I was told I was anaemic, told GP I needed iron tablets. They said they hadn't heard anything from the hospital and took over a week to prescribe anything once they heard from the hospital.

Trying to get an appointment is difficult
July 6, 2021
Trying to get an appointment is difficult. You have to call at certain times o f the day. If you call on Monday morning, you can't book an appointment for Monday afternoon, you have to call at 3pm to book an afternoon appointment. I work as a teacher and I am busy teaching at 3pm so this is not possible. The telephone line itself is awful as there is no queuing system, you have to keep calling over and over and over again as if you are trying to enter a competition. This is extremely irritation. Trying to arrange a home visit is also difficult and it is as though the default position is "no" and its not until you insist that someone will come and visit. Repeat prescriptions are usually done quite quickly so that part is good.

Generally good

Generally good. But since my GP retired I seem to see a variety of doctors and would rather just see one. GP receptionists can be abrupt but some are really helpful

Talked to two different doctors and they were very unhelpful and unsupportive, it was a bad experience
unprofessional, no understanding equality law

All the staff on front seem to have lack of training, been appointed because the surgery is desperate to fill posts, no training or have not understood, from experience they equality training of dealing with diverse community & need to keep personal views regarding age discrimination thoughts to themselves and not impose these views onto elderly customers. They have no complaints procedures and instead ask patients to write into the office of complaints when they already know English is patients second language therefore they will never complain. I’ve asked complaint form and put on while staff went ask the practice manager, then told to write into office.
Will be definitely complaining to ensure this poor level improves and no other elderly patients suffer abuse from front line staff.
