Excellent care and treatment

My wife had her gallbladder surgery at QE. The care and treatment she received was excellent.

Poor communication as it is very hard to talk to doctors and nurses. They don't listen to you at all.

My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer at the hospital. She received good care but sadly died a few months ago.

20 hour wait in A&E

My sister waited 20 hours in pain at A&E before being shifted to a ward for further investigations.

Cancelled my follow up.

I received a letter for a follow up at the burns centre but they cancelled it. I don't feel like I needed a follow up anyway.

Waited 3 hours in A&E bleeding.

I had a bad experience in the emergency department. I was bleeding for 3 hours, no first aid. They just told me to wait and didn't check on me it was really bad. I got seen after 3 hours and they just bandaged me up but they didn't give me any medication or anything.

Referred my on for MRI and tests within days.

I was referred on from my GP within 2 days. They put a camera into my bladder, I am awaiting an MRI scan. I took a sample to my GP and they said they would refer me on.
