Overcrowded A&E department

Too over crowded and busy. I had to wait for 4 hours before I was seen at A&E.

A very modern hospital with great facilities. Staff and volunteers are very helpful and supportive.
Referred on quickly for further tests

A benign cyst was found and doctors referred me quickly to this hospital. They did the tests to discover it was benign but they would need to do an operation. I have been waiting for a few weeks but I will hear soon.
They were angels to my husband

My husband was in for 8 weeks and a care package was put in place. They were good to sort this before my husband left. They cared for him well and he was difficult but they dealt with it very well. They were angels in there.

Rushed in to QE for a hernia complication and ended up with a haematoma. I stayed in for a few weeks. The care was excellent.

I was an inpatient for 2 weeks after having an operation. They were excellent and very caring.
Take too long

It takes too long there. If I need to get a new cochlear implant it takes 3 to 4 weeks for a replacement.
Plenty of parking

Very good hospital with excellent signposting and volunteer support. Plenty of parking around. Staff are excellent.

I went there for an ultrasound and was seen by a very professional sonographer. She explained everything very well and made things very easy for me.

I had my appendix operation done over there. The care and treatment I received was excellent.
