The parking is awful

January 15, 2024
Parking is a nightmare. There is not enough parking and taxis stop you parking as they stop by the disabled spaces. The rest of the hospital is good it's just the parking. It's awful.

Generally a good hospital

January 15, 2024
Excellent. No trouble at all. The worst thing is parking. That's our biggest bug bear. It's taken 2 hours to get here and have to come early to get a parking space. I don't have to pay because we have a blue badge. The hospital is generally good.

Very dirty floor. No cleaning at all. Especially at the side of stairs which gives a very bad impression.

Clean and easy to get around.

January 15, 2024
No problems really but I don't come very often. I had a phone call about my appointment. They initially offered one just before Christmas but I couldn't come so they rearranged it for today. I was happy with that. The hospital is clean and easy to get around.

Lovely and helpful staff

January 15, 2024
It was an emergency and it took a long time but it was good. The staff were lovely and helpful. Came back to get medication from the pharmacy and again it was good. It didn't take too long to get the prescription either.

Overall very good.

January 15, 2024
I had an appointment at 10:00am. I have been here a couple of hours for a follow up appointment. The last appointment was a year ago. Staff and communication has been good. The cleanliness of the hospital was good, only because the cleaner had just cleaned the toilets before I went in. Overall very good.

Too big and not suitable for mobility issues

January 15, 2024
Too big and hard to get around with mobility problems. As far as staff are concerned they are wonderful. Volunteers are wonderful. The A&E were awful. I had a fall and there were a group of people laying at the end of the bed saying it was a stroke, heart attack. I was being spoken at not to. Nobody speaks to you. The coronary department were brilliant though but its very intermittent.
