I had surgery the other Friday. All was well but my hand is swollen. The hospital got me an appointment to check it quickly.

It's been great. The care and staff. I have had injections and the communication between the different doctors I see is really great. They are really quick to book surgery and appointments and they listen to my issues.

Went to main outpatients and my name came up on the board when called which was really good. When I went for my appointment, there was a student too, which I didn't mind. The staff are nice and polite. When discussing the results they checked that I understood and we spoke about different options. Asked what I wanted to do. Which is good.

I dislocated my shoulder and was referred to the Royal pain and shoulder clinic. The staff there were very kind and helpful and they provided excellent support.

I am seen at the Royal for arthritis in my knees. I have come to see the consultant today. It's my first appointment in 12 months. They are very helpful and informative which is very rare these days. I see the consultant in person too.

The Macmillan nurses came out to me every day. They were wonderful.

Excellent. They knew if I couldn't do something they wouldn't push me. They did make me get out of bed and move. They ordered equipment for for my home too.
