Care was good
October 17, 2022
I had a frozen shoulder which I was referred for by the doctors. It has been a few years since I had the treatment at the hospital.
I originally had to go to the Heartlands hospital for consultation, however for the injection and treatments I was referred to Solihull hospital
The service and experience of care was good. The consultants and staff provided me with information and advised on the processes. Because of the treatment and care I received, my frozen shoulder has got better, and I no longer experience any pains or discomfort.

It's alright, better there for the eye screening and blood tests for diabetes. They keep me updated with what's going on.

Really good

Really good apart from the fact it's gone to phone appointments. I'm contacting them today to see if my health check will be face to face. If I want something on repeat prescription, they sort it out.
Doctor was very friendly

Doctor was very friendly, however waiting time should be decreased as it is far too long for those suffering.

Delayed operation
December 18, 2018
I have operations booked in at Solihull hospital for my leg. I am on the verge of becoming homeless after the operation.
No one is willing to assist me with accommodation. I currently live with my friend and cannot afford the rent. Hospital informed that as soon as I found accommodation and where to live after the operation they will be able to proceed with the operation.

lack of clear information
November 21, 2018
My daughter broke her arm. I complained due to the after effects but was told it is common risks, which I had not been made aware of. At a follow up appointment to investigate, they did not know why I had been booked in and did not assess her. They wrote in the notes I was happy with everything. When I expressed how unhappy I was. The complaint was dealt with by an apology letter but I do not feel this rectifies the problem. I have also been waiting over a year for her dyspraxia referral which they wrote to an old address, even though my address was updated on system. They looked at the old notes and now I am on a waiting list again.
