Utterly disgusted with lack of treatment

November 14, 2023
High PSE found on 15 June 2022. Spoke to Urologist 2 weeks later Biopsy 6 weeks after that. MRI scan 1 month after that. CT scan 2 months after that. Spoken to Consultant Urologist 2 months after that. Finally had my Prostatectomy 7 months after first diagnoses 18th Jan 2023. PSA has increased exponential from first post op test still not spoken to a medical professional 6 months after first post op PSE AND STILL NO CONSULTATION PLANNED!!. I have taken out a loan to pay to go private, cancer has now metastasis. Utterly, utterly disgusted with lack of treatment and very poor care from Solihull hospital.

Last time we went, we walked in, sat down and they called him in for his scan straight away. We never even had to pay for parking.

The information box for kids was great.

November 6, 2023
I had 8 sessions here. The biopsy was awful and i couldn't have anyone with me. The experience was painful. The referral was done quickly. for radiotherapy, chemotherapy and the operation. I only had a lumpectomy as the chemo and radiotherapy worked well. They gave the kids an information box which was really helpful on how to explain and approach cancer with them. I felt like my husband could have done with more support.

Rheumatology appointments are over the phone are alright as my rheumatoid arthritis is under control. Anytime I have flare ups they see me. I can't fault the staff they always appear to do enough or more than enough.

Less waiting time at dermatology

Excellent. Dermatology clinic is less waiting time. There is no sort of real communication required. You just sign in and they call you. I feel that system works with it being a specific clinic.
